Fort Siloso, Singapore's only preserved coastal fort stands as an important window to our colonial past and a poignant reminder of the war years. Built in the 1880s by the British to protect the Singapore Harbour, this fortress has both indoor and outdoor exhibitions, allowing visitors a glimpse into the past.

Experience Singapores war history through a guided tour atop a tram and choose from three different walking tours to view Singapores largest collection of WWII Memorabilia, including guns from the 17th to 20th century.

Highlights:

Explore the exhibition, A Soldier Remembers - The History Of Blakang Mati, where a wealth of memories is being displayed through more than 245 photographs, documents and film clips.

A revival of memories of life at the fort. Not only are there life-sized replicas of people. Even authentic aromas - from the smells of detergent in the Laundry Room to the whiffs of sizzling bacon in the Cook House - are recreated.
