Handheld Fiber Laser Marking System  is designed for maintenance-free and portable. The laser delivers a fraction limited (M²<1.1) 1.07 micron laser beam directly to the work site via a metal-sheathed single mode fiber cable terminated by a collimator.

The factory sealed fiber lasers can be built directly onto micromachining, engraving, cutting, materials processing and product marking systems with no need for after-installation service. Mark5 series - fiber laser does not need routine replacement parts or materials; it requires only a low-voltage power source. Mark5 series - YVO4 laser  is designed for maintenance-free OEM applications. The optical excitation efficiency is in fact 30 to 50% (against the 2 to 3% typical of lamp pumped lasers). This is the reason why our YVO4 laser sources consume only a few hundreds watt of electrical power and don't require water chillers.

The size of the laser sources, including the power supply unit, may be no more than that of a briefcase and, above all, the average life-time of a laser diode module is currently 10/15000 hours with the trend to increase as technology becomes more advanced. The power currently available provides excellent results in engraving codes and logos on any type of surface. The beam quality in these systems reach the theoretical diffraction limit providing high level precision markings, with a maximum resolution of 100 dots per millimetre.

Red Dot Pointer
Since the laser beam is invisible, the Red Dot Pointer on Epilog's Mini 18 allows you to have a visual reference for locating where the laser will fire. This provides the most accurate positioning of projects on irregularly shaped objects.

Air Assist
The Air Assist components that are standard on the Mini 18 removes heat and combustible gasses from the cutting surface by directing a constant stream of compressed air across the cutting surface. This provides you with cuts free of flaming, scorching and charring.

Auto Focus

Red Dot Pointer
Since the laser beam is invisible, the Red Dot Pointer on Epilog's Mini 24 allows you to have a visual reference for locating where the laser will fire. This provides the most accurate positioning of projects on irregularly shaped objects.


Air Assist
