Established in 1987, International Factors (Singapore) Ltd (IFS) is a recognized financial institution which has helped hundreds of small and medium-sized enterprises realize their vision. Over the years, the Company has grown in tandem with the changing needs of businesses and has evolved from being the leading factoring company in Singapore into a multi-faceted financial institution. In 1990, IFS began its regionalization drive and today has factoring joint ventures with leading banks in Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand.

In 2003, IFS, through its wholly-owned subsidiary ECICS Limited, acquired the credit insurance, bonds and guarantee businesses from the subsidiaries of EH Group Ltd.
