COMPANY PROFILE
Established in 1992, Oriental Handicraft offers a wide range of high quality Rosewood, Blackwood, red and black ebony and chicken-wing wood furniture on both Classical Oriental and Contemporary style. Our collection ranges from Qing to Ming style items designed to be both aesthetically and functionally satisfying, even wonderfully modern piece with an Oriental touch.
With a team of professional furniture designers based in Singapore and Shanghai, Oriental Handicraft provides free customization service of furniture, cater to those who got a taste for exclusivity and design. Coupled with Oriental Handicraft's deep knowledge on Chinese furniture styles and constructions, customers are assured that both their domestic and aesthetic needs are perfectly balance and fulfilled.

| ABOUT OUR FURNITURE |

|
|
Our furniture is still largely made by skilled Shanghainese craftsmen. We use high quality hard wood from Mynmar, Laos and parts of South East Asia - most notably Rosewood, Blackwood, Red & Black Ebony and Jichi Mu in making our furniture. |
|
We adopt the traditional method of Chinese Double Interlocking Joints and floating panels to allow for expansion and contraction. |
|
We only use pure natural lacquer (also known as Tung Oil) which seals and protects the wood from heat, water and alcohol. The natural lacquer is applied 6 - 8 times to each piece of furniture and is then placed in a humidity controlled room to dry. |
